Because there were no instructions with the new watewr heater dump load eliment we had to call Hotwire and they were very nice and gave us instructions. Not hard but there were some questions we had.

The dump load heating element gets wired as per the Seward
Water heater instructions as far as 120V goes. The for the 12v you simply add
the two wires from the solar controller to the 12v dump load element.
