Companion way steps varnished, finished - 2019

 Scrub-a-dub-dub with TSP and 220 wet sandpaper. 
This area you see a lot of but not really😊 because it 
usually is shadowed. This gets satin varnish.

My Crocs shoes got ventilated - 2019

 Ok the Crocs ended up looking a little Frankinstienish but they are nicely ventilated now😈

Companion way teak hatch sliders getting re-varnished - 2019

 These came out good.  We did sand and varnish these two and I forgot to post this before shots.

Stateroom step over to head prepped and varnished - 2019

 This prepping was a whole lot of work for a small area! It took me at least a few hours on my hands and knee pad to get the area cleaned up. Still there were some spots that just would not come off. The area looks worse than the pictures and better than the pictures.

I had purchased this Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 back in 2016 and 

have gotten a lot of use out of it. It was refurbished and inexpensive.

Freeports in Paradise! - 2019

We had a fun visit with Bob and Kathy who own s/v Salient, a 1978 B plan in Michigan...they are here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on vacation.  Ironically, there are two other Islander Freeports here at Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta so we walked the docks for them to see the boats and meet the owners.

We are using these for tie downs on the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two 
and Starboard Whopper ASAP Paddle Board. They seem to be working great. 
Two straps on each one.  They are strong and worry free.

Stern fresh-water washdown fixed - 2019

We were sailing to Playa Los Animas in Banderas Bay and while on the beach, got all sandy. We came back to s\v Elegant'sea and went to wash off our feet from the sand.

Marinco 30 amp to 30 amp shore power connector purchased - 2019

Marinco Sealing Collar w/Ring - 30A

 Being tired of taping our two Marinco 30 amp power chords together 

to reach the dock box power so we decided to spring for a sealing collar.

Dome light installed for above-the-stove cook hood in galley for night passages - 2019

  The dome light that we had under the cook hood on the stern side (left) was only a white light. The forward side (right) we had previously replaced. We had ordered a new white\red light and now we installed it. This is quite nice now. We plan on a three night/four day passage coming up from Puerto Vallarta to Zihuatanejo and this will come in handy.
