Jabsco bilge pump - removing Dampeners - 2011

January 2011 - Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA
What I have been doing with the bilge pump we have and the pump at Marine Exchange is confusing them for the same pump.

The one at Marine Exchange is a water pressure pump and so has ½ in\out hose barb connections.Water pressure pump at Marine Exchange has white 1/2 hose barbs or bilge pump has black 3/4 hose barbs

Ours is a bilge pump and has ¾ connections. We are getting to know a lot about the Jabsco 36600 Series Bilge Pump 8 gpm.
We got the last three screws off the bottom of the original bilge pump.
I was skeptical that they would come off and I could save the bottom or even the base of the pump getting them out.
We brought home the impact screw driver and that did the trick.
As you can see the both Pulsation Dampeners need to be replaced.
Now to order the parts and do the re-build.
So will these valves
If for no other reason as they are out.
We also will need some rubber mounting feet.
