OK the original bilge pump (Model 6600j-Series now 36600) requires a ¾ inch ID hose for out flow. A ¾ inch ID hose for intake up to a 10’ height., in our case the bilge and is less than 10’ ft so we are good to go with ¾ inch ID hose. Also a ¾ inch ID through hole is suggested.

So what is with this through hole valve and Y valve setup? The PO set this up and there was two hoses going nowhere. One I removed. It could have been for an axillary pump maybe but who knows.
It also looks like the elbow on the valve is lee than a ¾ ID also, no no :)
We will be removing all the extra stuff and checking out the elbow and replacing the hose to the bilge pump.
Guess the picture could be better. Any way the T has got to go and the Y valve and we will run the bilge hose only to the through hole valve with a loop in it.
