This is from a bad cap rail leak.
So we are trying to destroy the dry rot seen here on the rotted wood over the stove. This is in the cabinet above the stove.
We have finally fixed the leak (biggest one) in our cap rail and now need to kill off the wood rot.
The dry rot however can and does spread. So if you clean it up say after wetting it so it does not spread around the boat and vacuum. Then sand real good and then apply the Git.Rot or even another epoxy it will seal off the dry rot and kill it. The epoxy will seep in and surround the dry rot chocking off oxygen and killing the nasty stuff.
