Removed the bilge pump (the original one) and will send it out for a re-build?
This pump is expensive.
This pump is expensive.
If this is the model it is 475 gallons per hour.
Not a lot compared to the Rule 2000 GPH that we have.
Jabsco Model 6600j-Series now 36600 Marine PAR Belt Drive Bilge Pump (475-GPH, 12-Volt, 15-Amp, 3/4")

The nice thing about this pump as it does not need to be in the bilge. It can pump up 7’ off the water.

So it is easy to have this pump just sitting on the shelf. It will also run submerged.
I may just re-build it myself, got to see where it leaks for what parts it needs.
It still runs fine just leaks, suppose that really does not matter as it is just leaking into the wet bilge.
However it does say there is a problem with it and we do not want it to fail.
But we could add another Rule 2000 for the price of a re-build.
Could mount them back to back I guess in the bilge. Need to think about this some more :)
Could also just have this with a house that we could toss out into the cockpit for drainage and have the second Rule go out to the second through hole.
