The boat needed some ventilation. Not allowing rain in or bugs and being in San Diego it was not a problem leaving some opening. No big rain storms or any weather of a serious nature. So I made a companion way board screen. I was routering it on the finger pier next to our boat and one of thos not so courteous boaters went flying by in the 5 mph zone leaving a wake that shacked the pier and caused me to put a divot in the plywood. I lost interest after that so I never painted it or put trim on the inside over the staples. It works fine though. Could be someday I will re-do it and make it better but I doubt it.
Used fiberglass screen.
OK I will not take the credit dam it. Got the idea from a Freeport over at the South Gate Yacht club.
