Food storage LED red + white light fixture - 2010

The galley food storage area under the bottom stairs in the companion way is a dark area. Even during daylight it is hard to see in the back.

As you can see the pasta container there has plenty of head room and it is over a foot high. Lots of space in this one compartment.

We were going to put some string lighting in there. After some thought it would have been a lot of time and labor to install them (red and whit and the switches). We decide to just buy a light with a switch. This one (Aqua Signal Maputo Red / White LED Multipurpose Interior Light) we chose is the same as the one we have over the mirror in the vanity in the head. It is bright LED light which can be red or white. We were going to get two, one for this compartment and one for the upper food storage compartment under the upper step but are not sure if it would not be too big. So we will try this one out there then decide.

We like or I like to cook jiffy popcorn during a movie when watching them on the boat.

We also like to grab snakes from there and like the option of the easier on you eyes red light. Of course it has to be LED.
