So on my search for twisted pair wire I ended up calling Xantrex again and this time they made it a little clearer.
It is 4-5 twists per INCH. That is better for decreasing interference.
So using 16 awg marine wire how much wire is needed for say 20'? That is a rhetorical question of course.
The price I have been finding online would be about the price for two 100' spools of wire at Marine Exchange.
So looks like that is what we will do.
In the Xantrex Link 2000 installation it states one twist per inch. But support said more is better.
