That person in the white is Debbie!
Debbie washed or I should say scrubbed the whole bilge again and then painted it out with Interlux Bilgekote paint. December - Currently at Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CAWe went to HD and got rollers, roller throw-away pans and a small roller handle.
We had some throw-away brushes from the refer epoxy project that is lagging. We taped one of the brushes on the end of the roller stick and Debbie got the far corners that way. Not easy but better than crawling.
We will need to sand and do one more coat. Also, there is some trim that needs painting. The other areas will get sound proofing. The Interlux Bilgekote comes in gray and white, and it used to come in red for many years. Now come on red? How can you think of a red bilge?
We moved the hose that comes out of the shaft (the red one) to under the sink for now. It was in the cabinet we use for pans, and we did not want it there. It will go to the heat exchanger when the new engine is installed. Not sure what would happen if it was left hanging in the bilge. It has water in it. It could possibly start a syphon and well you know the rest. Maybe not but for safety's sake we put it up over the water line.
