So we just ordered this chart light. F4 TouchLED Task Light 12-Inch Black.
It mounts on a horizontal surface and we wanted one to mount on a vertical surface. We were hoping to mount the light on the separation panel on the shelf. We like this light so much we decide to try it out anyway.
We ordered the 12" one from yachtlights.com where we have ordered a few other lights.
Because we moved the computer to the nav station where it really belongs we find that there is not enough light. The florescent light we put in red bulb covers. They work great and it is nice at knight. They do restrict the light on the keyboard when the computer is on the shelf. Also it is a bit hard to see the electric panel labels.
