We thought it would be a good time to varnish the Oak behind the salon seat. It is not that easy to get at when the seats are screwed in. Debbie took them all off and is now getting ready to sand the oak with 80 grit to remove the varnish. Islander or the PO had varnished the Oak throughout the boat. We think it was Islander Yachts but it does not matter. The Teak had been oiled but not for years making our job of varnishing much easier.
Then Debbie will start the varnishing after a sanding with 220 grit.
We do not want to tackle too much as we have a lot of irons in the fire right now. Just behind the salon seat is all we are doing for now.
