Just got off the phone with Kato Marine concerning the Kato Marine Island Davits and motor lift and wind generator pole. We discussed how it would all work. It seems their solution would work and it would require a pole mounted outside the on the stern on say the starboard aft. The pole would clear the bimini and have a forward facing strut and an strut to aft. Then the motor lift would mount on the pole.
They make motor lifts in different lengths. They also have pre-determined measurements to fill out so they can make the pole mount for the stern. This seems to be so far the best support on the davit setup and solution we have gotten form the various places we have called.
