Looking from the cockpit in.
March 2011 - Currently At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA
From the galley.
We have not glued it in yet and have been chamfering the edges that are facing the inside of the refer for ease of fiber glassing and so it will be easy on your arms versus sharp angles. We then decided that maybe we will want to make the teak edges wide for seals for the lids. If so then we will need to re-do the top insulation, no problem as it is not glued in.
The top loading refer never had seals for the lids. We will be adding seals.
The edges where the teak is are not very wide and we are thinking that while we are insulating the top we should make the top edges wider because we can do that with the insulation. We have not done that but the insulation is still not glued in or finished.
So we are currently searching for some seals. We have a couple dock mates Heinze and Dave who we can ask also.

We setup the work mate in the cockpit and it helps a lot. Makes cutting and fitting much easier. Also cleanup is easier.
We also experimented with sanding the insulation radiuses we cut with 22 grit sand paper. It works great and will be what we do on every one.
Did one edge here top left. You can not see it very well but it is smooth!
