For towels we decide carrying those big bulky bath towels up to the marina for a shower was a pain. They also are heavy when wet carrying them back to the boat. They take forever to dry out and are hard to store.
We picked up a couple of these DryLITE microfiber towels to try them out.

Yes, the dry fast, are light and store easily. They do take a bit to get used to, but we would never go back to the old bath towels on the boat.
I had bought some from adventure16.com/ in the Mission Gorge store in San Diego.
So, we are purchasing more for moving onto the boat.
