Stateroom Lighting - Hobart LED Reading lights by IMTRA MARINE -2011

 We have removed the dome light from the starboard side forward bulkhead. We found it was an in your face light and very un-attractive. We have installed a fan there and do not miss the light. February 2011  - Currently At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA

 We have a LED White\red dome light that goes on when the door is opened in the aft hanging locker and Debbie loves it. We have the original florescent one bulb switch light between the lockers. We have not decided what to do with it as it is useful and the options are few for the space.

Over the bead we just purchased two Hobart LED Reading lights by IMTRA MARINE and got them from Defender. In fact the second light just arrived yesterday as it was on BO. I thought we would be waiting for it but because the engine install has consumed all our free time the varnishing in languishing. They will go over the bed if I ever finish varnishing that spot. There was a two bulb florescent light there.

 We also will be installing a 20 LED strip lite like we put in the engine room with a switch just over the door in the storage cabinet that is under the steep for the bed. This may be the white\red type as 10 LEDs should be enough light for that are (10 white 10 red). This is where we keep our Honda 2000 gen and our Sailrite sewing machine my guitar and then just more stuff. It is hard to see around in there even at day time.

We have thought about more lights in the hanging locker are but have just not needed any. Of course in San Diego harbor it is never really dark so when we get to say Gulfito, Costa Rica where it is truly dark at knight we may wish we had but we doubt it. It is the bed room after all :)

We have fixed and dimed these lights since then.
