We went to Keystone Brothers to day Debbie and I to meet our Keystone rep. We own a canvas company called C & D marine Canvas Works. She gave us a bunch of sample cards, book etc. We were and still are deciding on fabric for the salon and settee. I think we are going to go with the way it is now and was done by Islander Yachts. It is plain vinyl on the salon and a cloth pattern on the settee. We like that over the other choices like all one pattern or shade or texture etc.
So we are looking at a light affordable vinyl fabric for the salon that has a nice texture and is soft and supple but has a high swipe value. The swipe value is the wear value. For instance a swipe value of say 100,000 is real good and would mean the fabric could be used in a casino or restaurant. We want it to last and I abuse it so it needs a good swipe value. Keystone has their own bran which is real affordable.
We have made the foam choice and are thinking of having an ottoman made for the salon. Also we would like a couple through pillows for the salon and the settee.
We are looking at the sample that has the corner raised
This vinyl we bought a yard of to see how it looks on the boat
