Well after scratching up the door for the next coat I decided it needed a bit more sanding to get it smother. So after a sanding with the electric iron sander I scratched it up again and then cleaned it up real good. Then another coat went on and the photos show it wet.

This is four coats. But really with all the sanding how many coats are on it?
Of course this will be getting the varnishing scheme we are using. The inside panels will be satin and the outside trim will be gloss. Not till the last few coats, now it is all gloss.
