Stateroom door

We prepped the door to the state room by sanding it with 22 grit and washing it good with TSP. The trim of the door is solid teak but the panels are laminated plywood. So if they get too wet they can de-laminate or get wavy. So we do not use a hose on it. Some spray bottles and wet rag does well. One more time will get the rest of the teak oil out and then it will need to dry good and then the first diluted coat of varnish goes on.
It was nice to use the new saw horses and have room to work. Last door we had to do in place.
The door dries as the water goes down so the bottom of the door will have some teak oil from the top. It will need another cleaning.

Still drying
