The first San Diego FOGgers raft up (Rendezvous) was at Coronado
It consisted of six or seven Freeport’s. On was a Freeport 41’ which was the anchor boat.
Some chit chat on the 41'
We tied up next to the 41’ and Dr Dick tied up next to us. Dr. Dick had two cats and a girl with him and the cats liked the water. Some kind of special cats. They were a little nosey but fine. Dr. Dick keep the litter box under the companion way steps, he had a 1982 or so Freeport.
Doc Dick and one of the two cats
Those rear pulpit supports
Dr. Dick fired up his Honda 2000 generator and it was a lot quitter than I thought is was going to be. It is not as good as not running at all but not bad. He used it in the morning so it was not after say 10:00 at knight say.
We have since bought one.
There was some nice rear pulpit supports on the stern of his boat that I got pictures of. At some date we would like to add them for dingy davit support etc.
The 41’ was nice and we did some cockpit time there with the other FOGgers. They have had it for a while and are living aboard. One feature was the washer dryer.
It was a bit cooler than we thought it should be
