BayCation in Coronado part 1- Itinerary - 2010

I borrowed a camera from work. I could not get the simple one so we used the Nikon D5000. I did my best but it is a steep learning curve and videos were a challenge. We also had a telescopic lens.

2010 - Marina Cortez San Diego, CA
The idea was for a “BayCation” because it was inexpensive and we have done it before on our Catalina 30. We would not make as many stops as last time and the Freeport is Way… more comfy than the Catalina 30.

How it works:
Spend Friday night through Monday morning at Glorietta Bay in Coronado, San Diego. This will be a free stay.

• Go to  Loews Coronado Resort  for one day and two nights.

• They charge by the foot at their Loews Crown Isle Marina. For our 36’ Freeport it is $72.00 a night. It may be less off season.

Never figured out why it varies.
Still a bit prices.

We get a free guest slip because we have reciprocals from the Point Loma YC where we are members.
This would be a free saty.
