Bed red LED bulb

There was a light or is a light at the foot of the bed. It was installed by the PO I think. It has a on\off switch by the cabinet door on the port side of the bead. I am thinking the light was used by the man’s wife to climb in and out of bed with during dark anchoring in the Channel Islands where they anchored.


We at this time have no use for it.


It has a Perko SS cover and had a incandescent bulb.

I was going to replace the whole light but think it is too much work at this time for nothing. I did replace the bulb with a red LED. Works fine. Every once in a while my foot will brush the fixture but rarely. Most nights I never know it is there. Could be in the future some time I would replace it with a flush LED light with fixture.
