Xantrex Link 2000 from one to two battery setup - 2012

 After looking in the manual (yep this time it is all about the manual) we noticed the brown\yellow twisted pair we in different positions on the shunt.

 That is in the schematic with one battery bank situation with a solar panel  the wires were attached one way.

 The other schematic with the two battery bank and engine alternator hooked up it shows the reversed.

 So is that because the second schematic has two batteries or because the second schematic has a alternator hooked up?

  Xantrex support said it was mis-print. A possible photo copy error.

 It would be as easy as looking at the amp hr to determine if they need correcting.

If the amp hours are counting back to zero from a negative (-) while charging the batteries then all is OK.

If not then reverse the yellow and brown twisted pair on the shunt where they are connected. Just connect the yellow to where the brown is and the brown to where the yellow was.

Xantrax support was nice and took their time explaing this setup.

OK that was, well confusing and time consuming but we have an answer!
