The Genoa sail length problem was operator error. Chip from Hyde Sails (Chip\H) came by and we hauled up the Genoa. It went up nice with Debbie cranking the winch handle.
First we re-loaded the furler with line by simply spinning the furler.
We still have the old jib sheets.
The sail has a bit of room at the top and Chip\H said the sail will not stretch on the luff.
All is well again.
The furler does look a bit saggy so it is possible the rig needs a tuning.
