Got our new Genoa raised! - 2012

May 2012 - Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA
Our new sails arrive but the main did not have the Islander Freeport logo on it so we sent it back.
Chip, yes he has the same name will make the logo and put it on at his Hyde Sails shop.
Chip\H Opening the Genoa blue shirt.
All this time to do it and I forgot to clean and oil the furler top. Another day.
Had to move the blocks back as we had a jib now we have a Genoa.
Furles into a big package until we use it some.
We did get the Genoa on and are in the process of getting new Genoa sheets.
The new Genoa sounds nice being new and stiff.
John stopped by. He is restoring a 50' Kettenburg sloop.
John was admiring the new sail and getting the sail maker sales speech 😀
John's boat is coming out really nice. I'll grab some pics of it. He has promised us a sail on it.
The new batten for the main. We got a full batten main with three ref points.
They are wound up tight!
Me taking the old battens off the life lines. We stored them there.
For some odd reason I thought we were going to use them in the new sail??
