We just ordered our secandary anchor rode from hodgesmarine.com.
Lewmar 15' 5/16" G4 Chain
& 300' 5/8" 8 Plait Line
We will cut off the 5/16 chain and have 10, of 3/8 chain spliced on. This will enable the rode to work with our gypsy.
Getting the package deal was far less money than buying just the Lewmar 300' of 5/8" 8 Plait Line from the local chandlery, almost half as much money.
We can use the 15' of 5/16 chain as back up for our stern anchor.
