Ready for ECU and drive unit for the Garmin autopilot, rudder post - 2012

This is a picture of the fuse stuffed under the bus cables.
That way if we have a blown fuse, we can reach it from the stern lazarett.
That is the cable.
We wired up the GHP12 Electronics Control Unit (ECU) - (Brain) power cable to the new bus we installed that the anchor windless is wired to.

We also ran the Garmin Course Computer Unit(CCU)  cable that needs to connect to the ECU to the area that the ECU will be installed in.

We then ran the GHC™ helm control unit ground to the buss as it needs to be grounded at the same place as the ECU power cable.

That's done and the Garmin Class A Drive Unit for GHP 12 and ECU are ready for installation. We are hoping that is being done today by Shelter Marine Electronics (SIME).
This is the rudder post on our Islander Freeport. Debbie wire brushed the wire clamps but the screws are rusted.
There are four hose clamps on the rudder post we would like to replace. Because we do not have the time we asked Shelter Marine Electronics to replace them. Shelter Marine Electronics is booked up for the next couple weeks and we want to get this autopilot drive installed. We had forgotten about the hose clamps and one of the couple we are talking to about sailing the Baja Ha-Ha with remind us that they needed replacing, they had seen previous photos.

It may be that Shelter Marine Electronics cannot replace them for lack of time, if so the drive unit install will need to wait.
We really want to get the autopilot going so we can test it out as we will be sailing soon a lot.
We also have couple coming to sail with us to see if we are comparable for the trip south. This would be nice to have working.

There is little access to these clamps after the drive unit is installed. Of course if something happened we could remove the drive unit and fix it and who knows it may be possible to get at these with the drive unit installed, we just do not know?
Note:
Shelter Marine Electronics never helped us. They had bigger jobs for the Baja Ha-Ha.
