We have two AC units (12,000 and a 5,200) and would like to have one always available in case the other goes out. Either one can be run off our Honda 2000 generator but not both at the same time. Both can be run at the same time on shore power.
To that end we would like each to be its own unit. So each unit should be completely independent of the other.

If we use one pump for both then:
If the pump goes out both units are down.

If we use the one AC-5C-MD March Pump  AC-5C-MD (1000 GPH) for the 5,200 btu unite it is way over kill pumping all that water.

We are thinking of the March LC-3CP-MD Series Magnetic Drive pumps. One for each unit.
Would the March LC-3CP-MD Series Magnetic Drive unite work with the 12,000 btu Mermaid unit with Condensation Removal Device?
Would the March LC-3CP-MD Series Magnetic Drive unite work with the 5,200 btu Mermaid unit with Condensation Removal Device?
Would this pump be way over kill if we used a separate one also for the 5,200 btu Mermaid unit?
We would like to use the same pump only one for each AC\heat unit so we could inter change them is needed.
This would also give us the ability to use one unit if the pump failed on the other.
Does Marine Wholesales also sell the LC-3CP-MD Series Magnetic Drive pump?
It would cost more but it is a one time cost. More to maintain, not really as these require no maintenance.
 Now to get the answers!
