Got two solar panels 85 and 135 watt - 2011

September 2011 - At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA
Kyocera Solar KD-135GX 135 Watt 12 Volt Solar Electric panel laying across the cockpit.
We mounted the Kyocera Solar KD-135GX 135 Watt 12 Volt Solar Electric panel on the bimini temperately with wire tis to move it out of the way. We put the Solartech 85 Watt Multicrystalline Solar Module into the storage locker for now.
The #10 wire which may get re-purposed.
We also got our barker box.
And the breakers
This we are in the process of setting up, the box and breakers.

We also went to Industrial Metal Supplies in San Diego and picked up the aluminum bracing for mounting the solar panels. They came in twelve foot sections and I tried to ties them up in the Jeep but then end was flopping around being they are aluminum and do not have much body to them.
My Jeep in the Industrial Metal Supplies parking lot.
My Jeep and I now back at work.😖
That meant I had to cut them down in the parking lot to fit. It was hot but it got done. Man they play good music at Industrial Metal Supplies!
Also we picked up a piece of stainless steel scrap to make a grill brace for using the pressure cooker on the grill.
The brackets we used for the dodger solar panel mounting (aluminum to stainless steel 1" tubing) are not made any more. They were by Helm.
Helm out of business.
We thought about using these but we think the setup would be too week for cruising.
Also on the others the plastic separated the stainless steel form the aluminum.
We are looking into alternatives.
