PLYC happy hour at the SGYC - 2011

May 2011 - Marina Cortez San Diego, CA
Debbie and I we went to the Point Loma Yacht Club (PLYC) happy hour.

It was held at the Silvergate Yacht Club (SGYC).  We are members of the PLYC. We usually go to Yoga on Thursday nights but we skipped for the Happy Hour 😁
Debbie has her hand raised - there were some munchies
Every few weeks or so the PLYC holds a happy hour at some different location. The PLYC does not have a bar. So we joined up for the this fun occasion.
The chief is standing and I was sitting next to Deb but I am taking the pic
We used to be members of the Catalina association (CA) when we owned our Catalina 30 and would meet at the SGYC so we know the place well.
The Polaris Sailing Society (Single Sailors Club) was meeting inside where we used to meet with the CA.
We all sat around an outside table and chatted and then came story time. After some eating we started in. It was a competition.
The best fish story
The most funny storie
The most embarrassing
The furthest sailed story etc.
Then cam the prizes for best stories.
She got the prize for best fish story
Best long sail story - forth of July stuff
Going on Baja Ha-Ha - LED spot light
Margarita make for the July 4th PLYC raft up
The bar looks out at San Diego Harbor and on the other side Shelter Island Basin

You can see the table where we all were in the distance
Dam we had to pay our own check! No that's not me paying 😊
All had a nice time and we went home happy and full!
