Dinner on the docks at Marina Cortez San Diego - 2011

June 2011 - Marina Cortez San Diego, CA
It was the typical over cast beach marine layer evening at the dock. The longest day of the year just passed and summer has just started. Our sprites are high!

We had hoy fresh made tortillas, enchiladas and noodles with fried shrimp, Mexican rice and Boca burgers along with salads and rice and beans just to name a few.
Debbie to the left, Rodney at the grill  ex-live-a-board lived on his West Sail 42 for 15 years

We even had a late comer who just came in from Hawaii and there was enough left overs for her to have dinner, not desert though 😔 There was a lot of sea stories and "oh I can remember when" stories etc. Lots of laughs and no project work.

Hinze in the blue vest - live on his Gulf Star 42
I did slip in the outboard motor lift engineering with Hinze before we really got started with dinner. He confirmed that Debbie and I have got it right and it is always good to have a new set of eyes on something with so many different issues.
One of the girls is in the Derby Dolls (roller derby team) which we went and saw play last week. Debbie, I and our daughter Lindsey went and it was a real good time.
Myself and Sam in grey.
Debbie and my dinners.
Debbie had made strawberry short cake and it was  a big hit.
 It's a nice neighborhood!
