Our Shurflo Extreme Series Smart Sensor 5.7 GPM Water Pump does not work with an accumulator tank. Our accumulator tank that came with the boat was not working and we have just decided to remove it. The pump does seem to run a little better wit out the accumulator tank in the setup even though it was not working any way. We just found out that the accumulator tank was not supposed to be part of the setup. There was nothing in the directions about it. I just happened to call Shurflo about the new one (swap meet one) we have and found that out.

Look kind of nasty back there. We will be installing a through hull there and moving back the hot water heater.

A dock mate Hinze tried using a bicycle pump to pump the bladder back up in the accumulator tank but the air would just leak back out.
Great thinking! There is fantastic about "Elegant'sea". I am impressed by the quality of information on this website. There are a lot of good quality resources here. I am sure I will visit this place again soon.
