Nav station panel

There was some in-between-time while working on projects so a simple little project was chosen to fill the time. This would be removing the VFH radio and wires and the Xantrex control panel. Now there is the bilge alarm to be removed from the plywood that is the temperarly place holder for these items.

The radio does not work any more because we removed the antenna from the stern pulpit to make room for the wind generator pole. The new antenna will probably go on the mast head.
The Xantrex control panel will go over the lower round hole you see. There is also an in-active toggle switch there that will be used to control the light on the Xanterx control panel This will save amps but mainly keep the air port affect down. You know lots of LED lights all over the place.

There will be a thermostat for the AC\Heat on the top hole for the salon galley etc area.
The bilge alarm, will go in behind nav station and be wired to a loud siren. The on\off switch for the siren will go on the electrical panel. There is a couple of in-active switches there.

You can see the replacement piece of teak sitting on the desktop

So now this is almost removed. The bilge alarm is still working and we do not want it to be dis-connected so this will take a while longer. We have a piece of teak that will take the place of the plywood place holder. It has about five coats of varnish on it now. We will put in place and then when we do electronics it will get a SSB radio and  a New VFH radio with AIS.
