Video of raising the Achilles LSI-310E dinghy with stern windless - 2013

Early March 2013 – At anchor in the Bahia de Navidad lagoon

Here is our video of raising the Achilles LSI-310E dinghy with the stern windless.

One of can do this easily but it is more fun for us to raise the dinghy together.
I was lagging on bringing up the bow and that is what all the chit chat is about.
Debbie did the hand model thing with two light fingers to show how easy it is.
We still lock it and usually put cross straps on it as the anchorage can be windy.
We do not want the dingy moving around.
Note:
We never use the stern windless as it is just too much hassle and noisy. We have since modified the Kato Marine Island Davits to be much higher and we added an electric winch for the stern of the Achilles LSI-310E dinghy because I needed a hip operation. Even now with my new hip we use the electric winch for raising the dinghy because it makes it so easy.
