Ready to mount some electronics at nav station - 2012

March 2012 - Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA
We are finally getting ready to mount some electronics. We were waiting for the right stuff.
We decide to go with the Garmin - GMI™ 10 Marine Instrument for a repeater at the nav station. This will give us the ability to:
Set and anchor alarm.
Monitor the wind.
Monitor the depth

from the nav station and I do not know what else๐Ÿ˜

We also will be getting a new VHF radio and SSB radio.
Note:
We purchased a Standard Horizon Matrix GX 2150 VHF radio and an ICOM 802 SSB radio.
We have two holes at the nav staion from previous owners (PO) equipment. There was an hour meter and I forget what else. We now want to cover these holes.
Now that we know what we are going to be using we can start mounting what we have. We are trying to keep the nav station un-cluttered.
Debbie made a template from brown paper and blue tape. I cut out the center so we can use this for mounting the Link 2000 .
I think there was one but I lost it ๐Ÿ˜Š
There are going to be two microphones on the left for the radios.
To cover the holes this is the order they need to go in.
There is a littl toggle switch to the bottom right which we will use to turn off\on the back light for the Link 2000 . Do not want to see it all the time. It was there from the previous owner.
