March Madness 120 Volt wiring - 2012

 Because we only need one Blue Sea Systems 30 amp 120 v line coming into the boat we devised a new 120 v layout.

My goal for March is to get the 120 V power mostly installed.

DualBus Plus 150 Ampere Common BusBar

March 2012 - Currently At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego

Install a buss for 120 v

Install a new ground 120 V bus

Blue Sea Systems AC panel Main 120VAC 30A .

 Wire up 2000 Xantrax charger\inverter

Run 120 V line to both AC units. Later we will add the breakers and fuses for those units.

 To do this we will purchase a new 120 V ground buss and a Blue Seas DualBus Plus 150 Ampere Common BusBar.

We will also purchase a Blue Seas 30 am dual pole breaker for the nav staion electrical panel.

We will wire what we can before removing the old breakers and installing the new 30 amp dual –pole breakers as we will have not 120 Volt power during that time.

March madness we are calling it. Sounds like a plan to us 😁

 We are doing projects that need finishing and that have been lingering during March madness!

 And it has begun. We identified the buss and wired the 120 Volt 10/3 wire from the charger\Inverter input with enough wire to get to the 30 AMP breaker. See that's a start.
