Nav station some120 wiring done - 2012

The 120 electric got some work done on it. There were some plugs that came from various locations that were plugged into the 120 socket at the nave station.

We wanted to move these out so we can mount some electronic at the nave station and make the boat look nicer and more complete.
This outlet was originally going to be used with the 30 amp breaker.
We had made up a weather outlet to install in the lazarett a while back. Now it was time to install it.
It took some doing to find the right location for us and then to make the room by moving some wiring and the siren over a bit.
Looking up from the nav station in behind. You can see the sand Bimini up there.

This will also double for a place to plug in 120 from the cockpit. Not real good as the cord will come out of the lazarett and this will require leaving the cover open. But another choice.
The wiring need some more securing. We are getting ready to install a duel pole 30 amp breaker so things are kind of temporary.
Looking down into lazarett.
We wired this into the current 120 socket. We could at a later date use this as the beginning socket for all the 120 as it is VHI socket.
The old teak socket cover split when we were re-installing it. Some sanding and varnish and it will not be noticeable. I mean it is thin and 32 years old.
Another project done!
