The white plastic rail mount do not work with the Garmin GPSMAP 740 chartplotter(CP) mount the way we want to mount it.

They are just too long and are in the way of the Garmin plastic CP mount.
We want the teak wood to mount on the forward outside of the 1: stainless steel guard rail. As you can see with the far right white plastic rail mount.
The Anchor ¾ SS clamps seem to work fine without the rubber
on them. The rubber would work on a bigger size clamp however we like the look
of just the SS clamp.
This seems like the solution
for the CP mount at this time. A couple of these on each end will do the job.
