Beta engine accumulator tank installed - 2012

 It was time to get the accumulator tank installed for the engine to hot water heater (HWH) fluid exchange. The engine coolant heats the water in the HWH when the engine is running. When we installed the new Beta Marine 38 hp engine the old accumulator tank was real dirty from the Perkins and we had the old HWH installed. 
So we decide this would need to be done later, now is later.
March 2012 - Currently at Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA

 We got the accumulator tank cleaned at a radiator shop, bought new 5/8 hoses, SS hose clamps and ½ with 5/8 hose barb bronze fittings for the tank.
Decided where we wanted to mount the tank and bought the fittings for the engine in and out.
 We previously moved the HWH towards the port side to make room for the AC unite.
 Then we installed a new Seaward F600 hot water heater and plumbed it up and added the new heater element for our solar 12v option.
Now all the pieces are together and so if its ready were ready so lets go!

 We first cut a slot in the plywood deck under the saloon to the engine room. There actually was one here for the Perkins but when we installed a new deck we left it out. 
Now we need it because the AC unite will be requiring the room the old plumbing is at. Any we made a new slit.
First off we put the accumulator tank together by installing the new hose fittings.
The we connected the 5/8 hose to the accumulator tank installed tank.
Then snaked the hoses to the engine. Lots of extra hose! This is just going to the port back side of the engine which is by the light..
Not to despair it is in-expensive and we will have some for back up.
Just about right in length on the starboard side.
Now we placed the tank in the spot we wanted it. 
Of course the spot is not that big and getting it screwed in was a bit of a hassle but it's done.
This portion of the hose will  get dropped down but first we want to place the AC unit here to see how it all fits.
The hose is back there snaking up to the HWH  :)
Extra hose till it is plumbed to the engine.
Now we wire tide up the hoses to where they will be routed until we get the proper ties.
All done till we plumb it to the engine and add the proper ties.
These are they type of ties we will use but the ones we got were just a size too small. 
These are just an example, they are way to small. 
We now also need a radiator cap for the accumulator tank but we need to find the right pressure requirement first.
Found it, 13 to 15 PSI works just fine
