First we wired the out from the Xantrex 2000 watt charger\inverter to the back area of the nav station. This 10/3 wire will power the AC 120 volt buses for AC power and anything we want the inverter to run. The 10/3 wires on the left coming out of the Xantrex 2000 watt charger\inverter are the output.
March 2012 - Currently at Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA
As example we will
want to exclude the hot water heater from these buses as we do not want to run
the hot water heater from the inverter. This may not be possible at first so we
will wire it here and use the switch at the nave station to turn it off (if it
is running on 120 volt power) before turning on the inverter.
Then we moved two DC buses so we would have room for the AC
bus install. Debbie herd me swearing and came to my rescue. It is a tight space
and I am feeling low because of a cold. She took over and did the work.
Then Debbie installed the Blue Sea Systems 20 volt bus (Neutral and Power).
We got the black wire on the bus and now we need to install a ground bus.
Thank you Debbie!
