The new Water Valve came from VacuFlush and we installed it right after work. It went on fine and of course there was and still is a small water leak at the intake hose fitting. I had finally gotten that to stop just before the water valve went out. It is the fitting on the hose from the fresh water supply. We may change out the fitting and go with a Whale fitting and possibly have to change the hose also. Lets see if we can get it to stop. It all works fine but for the small occasional drip and I did not want to cause another issue by tightening too much to where it either split or striped. Wait for another day.
The Water Valve we took off that leaked we took apart. We unscrewed the black cap that was leaking to see the “O” ring. There is no “O” ring in it. We were told there was an “O” ring that may have been pinched but it should never come unscrewed. We will call to clarify this. We have not found a schematic on this part so have no idea what should be in it.
