Our ottoman served us well with an acrylic cutting board ottoman as a table. We like the see through cutting board because it lets us see the ottoman and so makes the room look bigger. It also serves us two purposes and is easy to store.
We put the red potholder het mat thing there so the cups would not slip but did not need it.
