Fiddler's Green on Shelter Island in San Diego - 2011

May 2011 - Marina Cortez San Diego CA

We went to Fiddlers Green for dinner last night. We had wanted to check it out. One of out YC members works there as a chef. The food was fine as far as I am concerned, not sure how Debbie felt. The experience as a whole was lacking. Your experience may vary, we will probably not return.
They have a lot of nautical stuff and a lot of boat half hull plaques.
The name sounds like it should be about gulf? We have also tried the new Point Break restaurant across the street and it is sad. It was once a Bowl Weevils.
The one kitty corner is the Brigantine  Brigantine and we liked it. Of course Red Sails Inn is just down the street and it is always good for breakfast.
