They wanted
$85.00 an hour to come inspect our rig. If we did the work with them, they would
take it off the price. I said no way. We are not going to pay for a bid on a
job. So, they gave us a ballpark price for everything. Only we hope fully to do
not need everything!
They were nice but
not what we are looking for. We would like to know what we need to fix now and
what we can wait and do later or ourselves.
We will probably pull
the mast as there are a fair number of items to go onto the mast. That arguably
would be the time to do the rigging.
We will take the boat
over to the fuel dock and Rigworks will inspect it for free. Tell us what we
need to do now. So that is our next step.
Then we can check
with another rigger or two.
Note:
We went with Rigworks in San Diego.
