Solar panel frame was modified

The solar panel (SP) frame was modified to clear the bimini. We added 2” on all four uprights. Forward SS uprights were 10 ¼ inches and we added 2” to make them 12 ¼ high.
The stern uprights were 12” long and we added 2” so 14” is what they are now.
Now the SP frame clears the bimini fine.

We also decide to add some supports to the frame and with the four:

Jaw Slides MH265 SSD from Keystone Brothers

Keystone did not have any heavy duty end caps so we used some we have for now.

We will fasten stern of the middle SP as we did the bow end and this should eliminate most of the sag to the frame you see here.

Of course it takes a fair amount of time to get these things mounted so we only got one done so far. We were able to use the old 1" SS tube upright from the forward mount for the brace.
I did drop one in the drink so we are one short and will need to cut one :)

We also purchsed two 1” SS Fitting tes from www.marinepartsdepot.com, now that they sent us our previous order.

These  we will install on the sides of the SP frame to give it strength. Also we can hang our bimini side curtains (to protect us from the sun) from these.

We will decide later if we want to have this welded up instead of using bimini hard ware for the SP Frame. Also we may want a SP frame to deck support for further strength.
