Furling Genoa ratchet block...

 So we have gone sailing twice in the last three weeks and furling the Genoa is not been easy.  First of the ratchet block was not positioned correctly on the stanchion. From all the project work it had gotten moved. Then I came to realize that we needed to switch the block from ratchet mode to freewheeling when furling the Genoa. I do not remember having to do that before.

This will be used a lot so Debbie is going to stop at Sailing Supply and see if we cannot get a new Harking ball bearing ratchet block for this purpose.
