The Bruce 44# anchor is sitting there to see where I can install the foot switch and still store the anchor there if we want to. The down switch is going where the blue tape is.
Note:
This was a Lewmar anchor but we did get a genuine Bruce 44# anchor later.
Of course there will be tie downs for the anchor for long term storage if we want to keep it in the anchor locker. For now I think we will keep it on the bow roller that is there for it.
Our old foot switch we took out. Below you can see the wiring and bottom of the switch.
Now a days the foot switch is just a flat dick with a couple thin wires out the back. You can see the old one went through the deck of the anchor locker.
