Islander Freeport engine noise from the 4-108 Perkins. There is not any insulation in the engine room now and this is to compare the noise after a repower. It also shows the outside from within the salon.
Our boat had a split exhaust hose when it was delivered. The water was up to the engine at times and the shaft flung it all over the engine room. All the insulation was wet and soggy and 30 years old, so out it came. When we repower we will replace it. That will happen on 2011.
