We made a tent for the cockpit and over the companionway hatch first off for shade.
We got three PVC poles from Home Depot. Also got end caps.
On the end caps we drilled holes and tied a line to each one. The glued them on. Well the stern pole did not need them. We then attached lines to them with hooks on the lines that went to the stanchions so we did not need to tie them. The back pole attached to the back stays with bungees.
We have since gotten a dodger and bimini so we will use this canvas for something else.
