Cap rail calking and bow rollers off - 2010

June 2010 - At Marina Cortez  Harbor Island  San Diego, CA
Cleaned and ready for caulk.

Wednesday 06-17-10 we finished the caulking for the cap rail.
On the inside we started with Life Caulk white and switched to 3M 4000 UV Marine Adhesive
part way through (white).
On the outside we used Life Caulk teak.
It was mostly done by Debbie and it was a long and time consuming project for her. Both working 40 hr jobs makes it tough. We are hoping we stopped most of the leaks that we had on the inside of the boat. Most small about six of them and all we think from the cap rail. Some we stopped as she did parts of it.
There were some chips out but mostly the cap rail is in fine shape.
We had the bow rollers and chail plate off when we’re working on fabricating new bow rollers. At that time Debbie caulked the cap rail around the bow on the inside and out side Then after we installed the new bow chain plate and bow rollers she calked them.
